Time Calculator

Add or subtract two durations in hours and minutes. Handy for timesheets, work shifts, travel and cooking times.

How to use the Time Calculator

  1. Choose add or subtract.
  2. Enter both durations.
  3. Read the result.

How it works

The result is shown as hours and minutes, decimal hours (useful for billing) and total minutes. Minutes above 59 are carried into hours automatically.

Worked example

5 h 45 min + 2 h 30 min = 8 h 15 min (8.25 decimal hours).

Good to know
