How to use the Electricity Calculator
- Enter appliance wattage.
- Enter hours, days and tariff.
- Read kWh and cost.
How it works
Formulas: Energy (kWh) = Watts × Hours × Days ÷ 1000; Cost = kWh × Tariff.
Worked example
A 1,500 W heater used 4 h/day for 30 days uses 180 kWh; at 8 per kWh that costs 1,440.
Good to know
Real bills may have slab rates, fixed charges and taxes, so treat the result as an estimate.
